a new approach to pain
JATi Technique
for low back pain
what is pain?
Pain is a fire alarm meant to get your attention so that you remove your body from harm.
Pain is one kind of feedback from the body's communication system (aka the nervous system) informing the brain that a part of the body has been harmed or is at risk of being harmed.
feedback from the body
Pain is registered via sensory neurons, which carry information from the body to the brain, reporting a problem.
response from the brain
Once the brain receives feedback from the sensory neurons, the brain sends a command via motor neurons to muscles telling them to activate.
pain is designed to be a guide
Pain inspires us to move away from what is hurting us.
the problem is..
Problems arise when it's not clear what is causing the harm.
This is often the case with chronic low back pain since the pain may arrive hours or even days after an aggravating position or activity.
JATI Technique was made for this
The JATi Technique avoids any positions, exercises or stretches that could aggravate your low back.
The JATi core exercises and the JATi release stretches keep your low back in a supported, neutral position at all times. This keeps your back safe while you activate your core and release the tight muscles that compress your low back.
Over time, the JATi core exercises and gentle stretches return your body to its natural alignment and organic movement patterns allowing your low back pain to fade away.
